If you love mountain biking, good vibes, and hanging out with like-minded people, mark your calendar for June 20-22, 2025. The first annual Midwest Mountain Bike Fest, presented by Wilde Bicycle Co., is rolling into Cuyuna, MN, and it's shaping up to be an absolute blast. Best of all, this event is a fundraiser for the Cuyuna Lakes MTB Crew.
This isn't some high-stakes competition. This is all about community. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just getting started, it's a chance to ride, connect, and soak up everything that makes mountain biking awesome.
Red Dirt & Crystal Clear Lakes
Cuyuna has over 60 miles of legendary red-dirt singletrack, crystal-clear lakes, and views that'll make you stop mid-ride to take it all in. Whether you're looking to push your limits, learn new skills, or have a perfect time, there's something here for everyone.
What's Going Down at Midwest Mountain Bike Fest?
Bike Demos: First off, expect some great bike demos. This is your chance to test out the latest and greatest. And if you're not in the market, it's still fun to dream, right?
Group Rides: Then there are the group rides led by some of the best local riders who know these trails like the back of their hand. Whether you're into fast, flowy, slow, or scenic, there's a ride for you.
Skills Clinics: Want to sharpen your skills? Sign up for a skills clinic and learn how to tackle that technical section you've been avoiding or finally master those switchbacks.
Festivities: The festival atmosphere wouldn't be complete without suitable ol' après-ride festivities. We're talking nightly events, music, and parties that'll keep the energy going even after the sun sets. Because let's be honest—half the fun of these events is the people you meet and the stories you take home.
Giving Back to the Trails We Love
Cuyuna trails exist thanks to the tireless efforts of the Cuyuna Lakes MTB Crew—the trail stewards who keep this place in tip-top shape.
That's why this event isn't just about having a good time; it's about giving back. For every festival pass sold, $10 goes to the Cuyuna Lakes MTB Crew to help maintain and expand the trails we love. Plus, on Saturday night, we're packing the house for New Belgium's Pints for a Purpose, where $1 from every Fat Tire sold will be donated to the cause.
What You Get with Your Weekend Pass
For $100, you're getting way more than just access to the festival. Here's what's included:
A complete weekend pass to the fest
Access to bike demos, guided rides, and skills clinics
A scavenger hunt punch card
An event t-shirt and sticker to represent your experience
Complimentary drinks at Friday night's happy hour and the Fat Tire Klunker Ride
Don't Miss Out—Get Your Spot Now
This is the first-ever Midwest Mountain Bike Fest, and you don't want to be the person who hears about it after the fact and has to sit through everyone else's stories wishing you'd been there.
So grab your buddies, get your tickets, and we'll see you in Cuyuna this June. Ready to ride? Let's go!
