True North Basecamp offers 6 lakefront cabins that are a blast from the past! These vintage-inspired cabins, reminiscent of early 1900s taconite mining industry buildings, bring a touch of the Northwoods industrial style.
And don't worry, they're not stuck in the past - these cabins are fully equipped with all the modern luxuries, like mini-fridges, Wi-Fi, and USB charging ports. So you can have your tech and nature too! Get ready to unplug and immerse yourself in waterfront living with world-class Cuyuna mountain bike trails near your front door.
CAMPSITES
Our campground offers 14 scenic campsites to meet fellow adventure seekers. We have four camper sites for great pop-ups, vans, and pull-behinds up to 17". Our campsites are well maintained and provide sweeping views of Cuyuna.
Our campground is in the middle of all the action – you won’t find a camper among you without an adventurous streak. We attract thrill seekers and are always happy to host like-minded campers with an awe for the outdoors.
CABIN TENTS
Say goodbye to the days of loading up the car full of camping gear and struggling with tent setup and takedown! Our 12x12 furnished cabin tents are the perfect combination of rough and refined. Made with 100% cotton duck canvas that's tough enough to withstand the elements but with a tight weave and silicone finish, the sewn-in vinyl floor is like a moat, keeping unwanted water out.
With a 7.5 ft. interior peak and four ft. walls, you can finally stretch your legs in your tent. No more crouching to enter with the large front door! And let's remember the six big windows with adjustable screens, allowing you to bask in the natural light and fresh air. Need some air circulation during a storm? No problem! Open the storm window and vents.
This tent has an interior table, lights, and a power source with USB and standard outlets to keep your devices charged. And for those looking for a good night's sleep, the two twin inner-spring mattresses will make you snooze like a baby. Need extra room for your friends? Rent additional cots, no problem!
